Thank you, Janusz!

Dear Colleagues.

I would like to share with you that our colleague, Referee Janusz CALIK, has decided to stop officiating in FIBA competitions with immediate effect.

From my side, as FIBA Referee Manager Europe, I would like to express my great gratitude for all the activities that Janusz has contributed to within all FIBA competitions during his successful career, and his support in progressing officiating across Europe.

In my eyes, Janusz has always been a reliable member of our team, modest and self-effacing. For the games where I nominated Janusz, I had complete trust and I was sure that the officiating team would perform at their highest level. Freely I can say that I was "calm" during those games.

Janusz, I hope that you'll continue to enjoy your work in the local competitions in Poland and, as I personally told you, we are waiting for you to take the opportunity to become a member of our educational team.
